Meet Marty

PHOTOGRAPHER

My name is Marty Castrogiovanni, and I’m a Wyoming-based photographer with over 45 years behind the lens. I specialize in fine art landscape, Western heritage, and rural Americana photography. My work captures the raw beauty of the high plains, the grit of rodeo life, and the quiet moments that define small-town living. I’ve always been drawn to storytelling, and photography allows me to preserve moments that might otherwise be forgotten.

There’s something sacred about chasing golden hour light across wide-open spaces. I find inspiration in weathered barns, winding backroads, and the steady rhythm of ranch life. My camera is my way of honoring the land, the culture, and the people who live close to it. I also enjoy creating vibrant travel photography, documenting the places I explore throughout Wyoming and the West.

I shoot not just to make images, but to evoke emotion—to help others feel what I felt in that exact moment. Whether it’s a canvas hanging on a gallery wall or a photo blanket on someone’s couch, I want my work to bring beauty and meaning into everyday life. I sell my art at fairs, galleries, and online, and I’m passionate about sharing the West through my lens. I also license images for commercial use and enjoy creating photo products like mugs, coasters, and prints.

In recent years, I’ve begun teaching others how to take better pictures, especially with smartphones. I believe everyone has a story worth capturing, and I love helping people find their visual voice. Photography grounds me, challenges me, and constantly reminds me why I fell in love with it in the first place.
